Microsoft offers 2 variations of Office - 32-bit and 64-bit.

64-bit Microsoft Office has been designed for users who will be using massive data sets (millions of records).

64-bit Microsoft Office is missing several components that are vital for the running of 3rd party programs such as EstimatorXpress.  This means that 64bit Office cannot support programs that run on top of Excel, Access or Word.

For EstimatorXpress, and also Health & Safety Xpert, you must be running 32bit Microsoft Office.

64-bit versions of Microsoft Office are available from Office 2010 onwards so make sure that you are installing the 32-bit version and not the 64-bit version.

If you have already installed the 64-bit version, you will have to uninstall this completely.  This will not effect any work you have already done using office, but it does mean that you will have to setup Microsoft Outlook again if you use it (not Outlook.com which is the online email system).

You can download Office 2010, 2013 or 2016 from this link using your Microsoft Office product key:      Download Office       Read the page carefully as there are different links to follow depending on which version of Microsoft Office you own - the Office 2010 link is towards the bottom of the page
